You find the perfect job online, submit your resume, and then wait, hoping that you will receive a call from the company. More often than not, your application goes unanswered. Sounds familiar? This is the notorious resume blackhole and you are not alone. Hiring managers and human resources practitioners receive heaps of resumes for any available job vacancies. With limited time each day, they miss, skip, or toss a lot of these resumes. Is there anything you could have done differently to survive the resume blackhole?

The Workshop

In this Surviving the Resume Blackhole Workshop, discover tips and tricks to make your resume better than the average! This workshop will focus on you and your career story and how your resume can be designed to be uniquely you.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of the workshop, you will learn skills on how to craft resumes that address both expressed and unexpressed requirements and expectations of job descriptions. You will be able to build a targeted resume which is visually appealing that communicates personality and professionalism.
